Ø     LITIGATION MANAGEMENT - DC was retained by litigation counsel to provide written legal analysis of several dozen return deposit lawsuits related to 5 South Florida condominium developments.

 

Ø EXPERT TESTIMONY / CONTRACT ANALYSIS -DC was retained by a Las Vegas law firm to provide expert testimony regarding the duties of a construction cost control service and whether a particular firm breached its duties in the management of a $6 million assisted living facility.

 

Ø    LOAN WORKOUT - DC was retained by the developer of a $10 million townhome project to act as liaison between the lender, the equity group, 7 secured creditors, 12 unsecured creditors and a lis pendens holder in the negotiation and disposition of several unsold units.  TD negotiated payoffs based on priority, legal rights and probability of future collectability of the primary entity.

 

Ø    FORENSICS -DC was retained by 30+ purchasers in a $125 million condo-hotel project for the purpose of analyzing and auditing monthly fee statements and negotiating reductions thereof with the master developer.
